The Vision
When Laith wanted to find service providers who offered VIP Days, he couldn’t find them. And the idea for vipdays.com was born.
In one easy-to-use platform, clients can find premium high level service providers. Plus, it’s a breeze for service providers to create a beautiful slick profile to present their VIP days in a simple interface.
Within 6 months of having the idea, vipdays.com was launched!

Tech Highlights
The VIP Profile
The VIP Profile is the heart of the site. It needed a polished profile that:
- presents a vip’s offers clearly to clients
- provides an onboarding and profile editing experience that is easy for vips to fill out
To populate the profile, I used Advanced Custom Fields, Gravity Forms, as well as a custom database table to optimize search.
Advanced Profile Search and Filtering
Users can search by keywords, filter by category, certification status and price or any combination of the above.
This required extensive coding customization as the native WordPress search can only search the title or post content fields, not any custom fields.
The search also prioritizes certain members first – verified, premium and then free.
3 Membership Tiers
With the freemium model, we had to block off some features and add call-to-actions for users to upgrade.
Premium members can also apply for a “verified” badge, which would allow them to show up first on the category pages and enjoy higher ranking on search results.
Of course, all of this requires extra coding and customizations.
